When you release a student’s account to a parent, it becomes a personal account, which they can use on their own to keep building. And when parents purchase the account, we will give you a student account seat for free! Here’s how it works:


When you are ready to turn over a student’s account to a parent, (at the end of the year, for example) you can “release” it through the Hub through releasing the class. Check out the step-by-step [guide.](https://www.bloxels.com/support/release-student-accounts)

Once you release the account(s), you’ll be able to download and send home PDFs for parents with instructions on how to purchase their student’s account. You’ll immediately be able to reuse the seats you release for other students.

Once parents purchase their student’s account, the student will be able to login and keep working on their things as a personal account. And for every seat parents purchase, you’ll get a free seat added to your current plan!

If your child has been building with Bloxels EDU, and you can now take home their account so that they can keep building on their own, and support your school in the process. When you buy their account, they will be able to keep building and their school will receive a free account. 

You won’t have to manage anything about your child’s account- everything they need is in the Bloxels EDU app. That includes access to more than 1000+ free art and game assets to download, build, and remix from asset packs.
