# Unlock or Reset Student Password

Students forget their passwords sometimes! Also for their security, student accounts are locked after too many failed login attempts. Follow these steps to regain access to a student's account and set a new password.

1\. Go to the student's class.

2\. Click the edit (pencil) icon next to the student password.

3\. This will reveal their password. Click into the field and set a new password/PIN if their account is locked.

4\. Click the green checkbox to confirm. The student's account is now unlocked and they can login with the new password.
