8 Block Types
Terrain
These are blocks that you can walk on. You can decorate them to look like whatever you like.
Hazard
These blocks damage the player and enemies health when touched. They can be lava, spikes or anything else you imagine.
Collectible
These blocks can be collected by the player. They can be used to show hints for secret paths, reward difficult maneuvers, or even make collecting them part of the story. They can also be configured as Keys, which can open doors.
Story Block
These are used to put narrative, checkpoints, and end flags into the game. They can also be used as Warps, to teleport the player to a location in your game, or to another game entirely.
Enemy
These blocks damage the player when touched. Enemies can be configured in a variety of ways - flying enemies, fast enemies, large enemies - give it a shot!
Action Block
These blocks can be picked up by the player, moved around, and thrown at enemies to defeat them. In Top-Down games, they can be pushed. They are a great building block for puzzles.
Power-Up
These grant the player special powers when picked up. Recover lost health, the ability to change into a different character, or other special abilities.
Liquid
These blocks allow the player to float and swim by jumping through it. In gameplay they have a special effect, but can be decorated with your art to look like anything- a foggy mist, or a cloud, or even a ladder.
