How to Capture a Bloxels Board
Capture is available in the native Bloxels app (iOS and Android.) NOTE: Capture is not currently available on Chromebooks with chipsets based on the x86 architecture. Capture is not available on the Web app at play.bloxels.com.
Capture Tips
- Pick a spot with a light, non-reflective surface. Avoid harsh lights.
- Make sure nothing else is in the frame!
- Hold your device so the board is at a slight angle (avoid extreme angles). When in doubt, move around a little!
- Bring the entire board into the window. You’ll be 2-3 feet away on most devices.
- Remember, you can always easily edit your artwork after capturing, so don’t stress if a few blocks didn’t properly capture!

Capture Station Feature for Teachers
EDU users have the option of using the “capture station” feature in the Bloxels app. When logged-in as an educator, you can use a device to capture boards and send them directly to one or multiple students.
This can be helpful when there is only one capture-compatible device available to the class.
